    Scholarships

    This section contains information about scholarships that are available for our students. Please take care to read the criteria and make sure that you qualify - don't waste time applying for $$ if you don't meet the criteria for that specific award mixed



    Hauora Maori Scholarships available
    Associate Health Minister Tariana Turia is encouraging Maori students to apply for Hauora Maori Scholarships to help them start or complete their studies in health related courses. The scholarships are funded under the Maori Provider Development Scheme to achieve greater participation by Maori in the health and disability workforce ensuring the delivery of health services for Maori. To be eligible students must be enrolled and attending a University, Polytechnic, Wananga or College of Education. They must be studying a health related, NZQA accredited course, be able to demonstrate a commitment to and/or competence in Maori health and well-being studies and have whakapapa and/or cultural links with te ao Maori or Maori communities.

    Applications can be completed online via the Ministry's Maori Health website (http://www.maorihealth.govt.nz) Closing date is 5 April 2013.

    Jamie Mannion: Find my available times for booking-in or dropping-in here. Henderson availability is on Mondays and Wednesdays 10:30-11:30 (please book-in to ensure availability)

    Graeme Saxby:  My best times are Monday before 10.30 at Waitakere, Tuesday mornings at the clinic, Wednesday 1230-1400 at clinic, Thursday and friday1030 - 1130 at Waitakere.  Please call ext 5197 or send me a mail beforehand to arrange something as I may need to be elsewhere.     John Waugh: Available times (please ring ext 5181 to confirm) Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday 10.00-12.00

    Lucy Patston: Monday 10:30-11am and Tuesday 12:30-1pm

    Tim Friedlander:  Available by appointment only, typically Tuesday 10:30-12pm and Thursday 12:30-1pm.  Please email tfriedlander@unitec.ac.nz to confirm.

    Philippe Dussart: Available by appointment between 8-8:30 Tuesdays and 13-13:30 Wednesdays. Generally available Thursday mornings 8-12:30 (please email pdussart@unitec.ac.nz to confirm). Always in Clinic 41, Mt Albert.

    Te Puna Ako Learning Centre Drop-in at Waitakere

    Academic Drop-In at Waitakere

     

     

    TPA will be continuing the drop-in service for students to access quick (10 minute) academic advice without having to make an appointment.

    Where:
    At the drop in desk in Student Central, ground floor of building 510

    When:
    Mondays, Wednesdays & Thursdays from 12pm-1pm.

    NB: For questions requiring more time, students can make an appointment with one of the team at the reception desk in Student Central.

    This re- enrolment is for

    BASHB year 1 students (in 2012) going to year 2 (in 2013) and

    BASHB year 2 students (in 2012) going to year 3 (in 2013)

    Please be advised web re enrolment are now available for students who have passed all courses. See link below for instruction.

    Please see attached the Web-Reenrolment Guide for the instruction and also Course Selection Sheets which contain information about course and class number you need to enrol in each semester 2013. You need to have the class number when you enrol online.

    Please be advised 2013 Re-enrolment for Master of Osteopathy programme is now available for students who have passed all courses.
