Students will develop a confident learner identity and the art & design skills necessary for further academic study in their chosen pathway.
By the end of this course, students will be able to:
- Experiment through a range of art and design processes, procedures, media, and technologies that includes but is not limited to Māori cultural conventions.
- Communicate effectively through art and design skills.
- Reflect critically on personal art making processes to generate informed outcomes.
- Research and analyse resources related to processes, procedures, materials, and technologies.
