To provide students with an opportunity to complete an in-depth analysis of a chosen topic, with a view to gaining a degree of mastery through selected study in a specialist area. To provide an opportunity for students to integrate the theoretical knowledge obtained through literature reviews and/or critical reflections and apply this to a practical setting in a problem solving project.
