This course will introduce students to forms and structures for 2D publication. Layout for the Graphic Designer is essentially the organisation of text and image within a confined space (the page, the screen etc). This course will include the development and refinement of grid systems, typography, text-setting, page composition, layout and text and image juxtaposition. Project work builds on previous skills in storytelling, typography and creative communication.
