Kia ora,
It was great to meet you all yesterday and to start our journey.
Moodle is our primary means of communication with you.
All the resources for our course may be found on this online page.
Almost half of you have never logged in.
We encourage you to do this immediately.
All the information to guide your mahi and ensure successful completion is available here.
You have all made a great start on our first studio project.
The next task of assigning scale, contour, and the location of North, to the chosen inkblot, transforms this gestural, abstract element into an imaginary land.
Bring this proposal in draft form to the studio on Thursday.
Wednesday’s studio session from 10am - 12pm will give you the opportunity to practice and learn with the help of our expert Teaching Assistants.
Scarlett, Joseph and Rimo look forward to meeting you.
On Thursday you will need the following materials and equipment:
- 2 pieces of 210mm x 210mm cartridge paper
- Tracing or butter paper
- Drawing pencils i.e. 2B, Hb, 4B etc
- Drawing board

- Eraser
See you at 1pm on Thursday.
