Kia ora,
You should be working on your ISLAND outputs
- the contour map
- hatched and chaded renders
- small cardboard model Scale 1:10,000 - using 42-sections
Bring all these tasks on Monday, even if they are not yet completed.
We will be workshopping the results to identify how to complete successfully and understand the qualities of a successful output.
NOTE: Next week you will be visiting the Workshop to do a Task for the next part of the project.
This requires you to be inducted into the Health and Safety procedures in the workshop space.
To enter the workshop you MUST have your own PPE gear:
- protective ear muffs
- safety glasses
- steel capped safety boots
These are available for purchase on campus at the Hub as well as at shops such as The Warehouse etc.
Workshop sessions will be on Tuesday 14th, Wednesday 15th and Thursday 16th March. Please come prepared with the PPE gear.
These articles will be used all your working life as you go on site and work in workshops.
Next week we will also be making a series of cardboard models, using 5mm cardboard.
Source boxes from local supermarkets or shops to have this material on hand.
Looking forward to seeing you on Monday at 8am.
