Kia ora koutou,

Great progress is being made as you expand your understanding of the conventions of representing landfform and interventions, in a specific context.

These tasks are also an exercise in activating your imagination and breaking preconceived notions about how architecture is initiated.

It starts with CONTEXT!

Please bring with you your cardboard landform and cut cube models, together with the 1:200 site plan, with interpolated contours.

On your drawing boards, you will be working on the elevations of the composition in the landform in class.

Attached is the list of sign-up sheets for the NZIA Home Visits programmed for Thursday 23rd and 30th March.

There are still a few slots available. On Monday you can add your name to take advantage of this important opportunity.

Student Membership of the NZIA is free. Follow here to explore the events and activities of the Institute.

SANNZ - Student Architecture Network of New Zealand - offers events and networking for architectural students across the motu. Competitions, events and human interaction aim to create a community of support.

On Thursday in class, we met Gina who is the Co-Chair of Architecture+Women New Zealand an association supporting, and promoting, diversity and inclusion in architecture in New Zealand.

See you at 8am on Monday.
