What a great session we had yesterday and some excellent teamwork was displayed as we tested Bridge 1 to breaking point!
Thank you to all those who assisted to tidy up the rooms afterwards.
Tasks for Thursday
Please study your broken bridges and
the video footage to reflect on the exact nature of the failure of the bridge
structure, and propose improvements and changes you will be making in your
second bridge to improve on its performance.
You are requested to produce 2-3 still images from the video to include in your report.
You should be collating the material for your Bridge Report, which is clearly itemised in the brief.

You can make up a draft WORD document
by copying the list of items from the brief and putting placeholders, for now,
of the items you will have collected already.
The Bridge Report will be discussed further in class on Thursday together with content to understand basic Structural Principles and different bridge typologies.
On Thursday you will start drawing a second bridge model.
Please bring your drawing materials.
