Tomorrow is the last class before mid semester break.
We will discuss globalisation as a sociological concept. Another "-isation" to help us understand a process of changing.
I am proposing that we do the main lecture after lunch, so we can spend the morning workshoping the essay. I'll discuss essay structure, some brain storming ideas and i will share some "hacks" to find reference material quickly, which will both give you more ideas around areas to explore and give you better grades because you will be using legit reference material.
A reminder that we agreed to extend the essay due date. New due date is 1st November, which gives you the first week of the break to complete.
I have opened the remainder of moodle tabs and have updated the class topics schedule. This should give you a sense of where we are at, how much we have covered, and where to from here.
I hope to see you all this last time before the break which I imagine we are all looking forward to.
