We are looking forward to discussing with you the Cultural Map, precedent studies, site research and conceptual ideas for the RESIDENCY project.
Bring all sketches, sketch models and ideas to class for discussion and feedback, so you can develop more successful, thoughtful and resolved iterations for your final project.
You should be thinking about:
- a clear narrative
- site engagement which includes drawing sections and models of the contour
- research into artistic practice to be accommodated
- the programme arrangement including a strategy for respecting the privacy gradient accommodating public entry and private activities, arrival pathways and thresholds
- 3D, 2Dand 1D form and composition
- sensorial and experiential qualities of the spaces generated within and between and around the structures
- structure and materiality
This is a fantastic opportunity to be adventurous, deepen your practice and demonstrate the skills and capacities acquired throughout this year of study.
