Kia ora Construction Practitioners,

I have been asked to clarify where, in Assignment 2's Hall relocation the use of the 110 datum and any given horizontal distances are be used.
1. Use 110 as your datum as it is the top of the concrete sign adjacent to the North East of the path. I have called this the brow of the ridge because it is the highest level. You may do the same.

2. You may use Google Earth or the GPS map from Auckland Council's Unitary Plan site. Recently, I advocated the use the method of google earth to find distance in this instance but either is acceptable. That is, we would ordinarily have been out and measured it with the tape and the instruments but Covid prevented that unless you measure it now during the day. Also, if you have used Google Earth for your any dimension across the slope, ensure the dimension provided its one where Google Earth was switched to the 2D horizontal plan. Dimensions in this way will be acceptable. - even though they may only have a + or - accuracy of 50  mm.
