Storage of Summative Assessments
Completion requirements
All summative assessment
materials must be stored for at least 12 months.
Summative assessment materials include the following items:
- summative assessment instructions
- marking documents (i.e., marking schedule/marking guide/marking rubric/assessment schedule)
- marked ākonga work (e.g., hard copy or electronic copy of student work submitted), including resubmissions or reassessment. (Hard copies need scanning for electronic filing.)I submitted hard copies of work, such as posters or artwork, photograph or scan them to store electronically for a year on H drive.
Tip: Check with your APM to see if your course is using the Te Puna Ako (TPA) copy rollover approach. If your assessments have been conducted and stored within Moodle (including Turnitin), then you do not need to download copies of the assessments if the copy rollover is being carried out. The old version of the course will remain accessible on Moodle with the previous learners enrolled with all assessment submissions.
If your course is not stored using the TPA copy rollover approach, ask your APM or Programme Co-ordinator how to download all assessments and where to save on H drive.
