Learning Outcome:

Deliver and mark summative assessment in a way that complies with Unitec's assessment policy and procedures.

Overview:

By end of this course you will be able to

  • Demonstrate understanding of the purpose of summative assessment in vocational education.
  • Demonstrate understanding of the summative assessment compliance requirements in the context of Unitec and external quality assurance systems.
  • Implement and mark summative assessment in accordance with Unitec's official summative assessment procedures.
  • Demonstrate understanding of what distinguishes good/acceptable and bad/unacceptable summative assessment.
