Welcome to ISCG5430 Professional Skills for IT Professionals Course
In this course, you will learn and improve the skills that you need to either be a valuable employee or a self employed professional. These skills include, but are not limited to, communication skills, interpersonal skills, time management, problem solving skills, team work, and research skills. On completion of the course you will have developed your professional competencies using relevant IT software to enhance your interpersonal and research skills in creating, retrieving, using and disseminating information in a range of settings.
There are two assessments to complete; each of these is divided into a number of tasks. Class time consists of a one-hour lecture and a three-hour tutorial, but there is also work for you to do outside class time.
