Goal:
To introduce the principles and safe practice of land surveying and its connections to the natural and cultural world of New Zealand.

2. Calculate areas, volumes and contours for survey purposes.
3. Appreciate Māori cultural views of the natural world and their implications for surveying practice in New Zealand.
