Kia ora koutou,

You should be working on the 1:200 scale site plan and sequential sections of your planar SPACE model.

NOTE: the SPACE + STRUCTURE outcomes are due for submission by pinup presentation at 3pm on Thursday 27th April.

This Assessment Event is after the two-week mid-semester study break from Friday 7th through to 23rd April.

On Monday we will be introducing the STRUCTURE Brief.

Take a look at the STRUCTURE TASK 1 modelling exercise in the brief.

You will need your cardboard landform model and the planar space model in class.

Please bring with you found and/or bought 1D materials.

These 1D components may be milled timber or balsa wood but also bamboo skewers, twigs or sticks, wire, wool, cotton and cloth or paper/cardboard strips.

You will also need glue, your cutting mat and craft knife and scissors.

Also, bring your imagination!

Next Monday afternoon there is a prize-giving event which will be held in Room 1043.

This room will be not available for students to work in, from 12:30pm.

Please note that the studio room must be cleared of all personal belongings and the stack of discarded cardboard.

See you on Monday at 8am.
