This term refers to two kinds of changes that can be made to approved programmes. Type 1 changes tend to be more minor improvements at course level, whereas Type 2 changes are usually more significant at Programme level. See the Nest for more details. An application needs to be submitted before a Type 1 or 2 change is made. This is because NZQA approval for the course and programme includes details which Unitec has agreed to deliver.
